22nd August 2023 - Edinburgh Fringe

I am pleased to say I will be at the Edinburgh Fringe festival this week. I am looking forward to visiting with my wife and seeing talks

20th June 2023 - Let's not suffocate the voices of reason

15th June 2023 - I AM DANIEL BLAKE, Rep Theatre Birmingham

We have just come home after watching the production of  ‘I, DANIEL  BLAKE.’ You have to hand it to the cast; their performance was absolutely riveting, and a massive credit to Dave Johns adaptation from the original award-winning film by Ken Loach. Well done to Sean Foley and his team at The Rep. An absolutely brilliant production, and I wish you all, great success in London, you deserve it.

10th June 2023 - Sweet Years Taken

I commend our jaded heroes.

26th Nov 2017 - Channel 4, Random Acts

Avant-garde spoken word poetry fuses with experimental electronic production to create a unique short film, Let Me Show You Mr. Critic. Written and performed by xeno_ & D. Sandman, this is an avant-garde spoken word piece which discusses the highs and lows of the current socio-political climate. Directed by Christy and Shana Carey, the film translates the left field nature of the music into a visual medium.

12th January 2015 - New York

My poem 'Blackstar - you shone so bright' was kindly put outside Bowie's apartment in New York. Danilo Durante also placed the poem in his Italian cafe, Bottega Falai that Bowie used to visit regularly.

12th January 2015 - Brixton, London

Blackstar - you shone so bright. A poem I wrote to celebrate David Bowie, which includes every album he ever wrote. The poem was left in Brixton, London at a gathering. It was featured as part of Time Out magazine's article on the mural!
